Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on 5 February, 1964. She is an American actress who is known for her capacity to play tough characters, but also fragile. Linney is a member of a family of actors her father was the playwright and writer Romulus Linney. She graduated in 1986 in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her first stop in the 1990s. The actress began performing in Broadway in the very first week, and soon received high praise for her performance on Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) as well as Hedda Galer.
